| The Nitrox course teaches the diver to plan the most optimal Enriched Air Mixture for a dive, analyse breathing gas and mark the tanks appropriately. The Nitrox course cover the benefits and hazards of breathing a high oxygen mixture and how to avoid the pitfalls. Using Nitrox for your diving makes diving safer and makes it possible to extend your bottom time and still maintain a no decompression dive. Read more about Nitrox diving here. Must be 10 year or older and have an Open Water Certification or higher. Training consists of Knowledge Development, students are required to self-study the theory. The practical session demonstrates the analysing of breathing gas and marking of tanks. If the Nitrox course is combined with another course a Nitrox mix can be used for the dive.
