Answer: We offer a "Scuba Review" program designed specifically for people in your position. Question: I have been diving for years but never got my dive certification. Recently the dive shop where I always got my tanks filled, refused to fill my tanks because I could not show my certification card. Can you help? Answer: We offer a program specifically designed for the experienced diver. It gives you credit for your experience and accelerates you through the certification process. Question: My schedule is very busy and I am on standby for my work and can be called to work at any time. How can I schedule my training? Answer: We can schedule you to fit in with different class groups to allow you to catch up the items you have missed. Question: I will prefer to get "one-on-one" training. Can you accommodate me? Answer: We also provide personalized training that can be scheduled according to your schedule. Question: I tried training with another instructor and could not master one of the in-water skills. I was told to get it right or leave. How do you handle such problem situations? Answer: Because we have smaller class groups it is easier for our instructors to pay attention to individual needs. In the worst case scenario, we will schedule a private session with you to master the required skills and re-schedule your training. Question: I am told that I have to purchase a wet-suit, mask, snorkel and fins before I begin the initial training. What if I find that I do not like diving and end up with equipment I may not use again? Answer: We strongly recommend that you purchase a wet-suit, mask, snorkel and fins, but if you are uncertain about it, you can rent these items from us for your initial training. Question: Can you advise me of what equipment to buy? Answer: We have an equipment specialist on staff whom will advise you of the different options and assist you in finding the equipment that is best for you. Click here for our "Contact Us Page". Question: I have no experience in diving whatsoever. Will the course be very difficult? Answer: Our courses are structured to be easy fun filled and exciting. The PADI course material is easy to follow and allows you to study in your own time in the convenience of your own home. Once ready we will schedule your in-water training and introduce you to the wonderful underwater world. |
| Question: There seem to be many certifications. I find this confusing and do not know which one to select. Where do I start? Answer: The starting point for most people is to do an "Open Water Diver" certification. Whilst on vacation you may not have enough time to do a full certification, hence the full course was split into smaller sections to allow people with limited time to do the certification in steps and receive certifications for each step. Question: What is an "Advanced Open Water" certification? Answer: An "Advanced Open Water" certification will train you to be more confident and safe at greater depths and finding your way underwater with a compass. By providing training in smaller increments, it allows you to gain confidence over time as you gain experience, whilst receiving recognition for your efforts. Question: Why should I consider the Rescue Diver Course? Answer: The Rescue Diver Course trains you to be proficient in various rescue techniques which can save someone's life. You also get training in EFR (Emergency First Response - including First Aid, CPR and the use of an AED). You will be taught how to coordinate a rescue operation and can constructively assist in a rescue situation. Not only are your diving skills improved, but you also become a dive buddy with life saving skills. Question: What is a specialty course? Answer: Not everyone has the same interests and the specialty courses were designed to provide specialty training for each person's interests and needs. Question: I did my certification many years ago and have been diving regularly. Why do I need to do a course? Answer: Doing a dive course is equivalent to continued education. You get into contact with an instructor whom will not only provide you with training for your selected course, but if you have adopted any unsafe habits, these will be pointed out to you and can save you from making a bad mistake. Question: I live in the cold northern part of the country and can't dive as often as I would like to. How can you help me? Answer: We often schedule dive trips in combination with training courses. Call us or send an email to get more details. You can also get good rates for accommodation from a wide selection of hotels in Fort Lauderdale from our website.
